This blog has lived its life and after two years of consideration, I am finally ready to remove this blog. For now, the only thing I plan to keep are my Shikoku diary posts and a handful of other posts that are useful for me as public notes.
I don’t know when I will finish migrating the contents I want to keep, but I’m committing to removing it by the end of 2020.
Thank you for visiting this site and the support over the years.
The maps I have created will continue to remain available online. In case you want to save them, I am adding all of them to my new blog at https://shenchingtou.github.io/maps/
Many thanks 🙏, your blog helped me travel Japan on my own a couple of years ago and I have since always enjoyed your posts, both old and new.
Happy trails

Your blog has been really great reading these past few years for me! Glad to see you’ve created a space for so many of the resources you have here. It’s already bookmarked for the day that I’m finally able to visit Japan. Many thanks once again!
